These programs ensure that players not only enjoy the game but also develop the mindset and skills required for long-term success. Parents often highlight how their children thrive under our personalized coaching approach, which allows each player to reach their full potential.

Dominating the Academy Super League (ASL)

The Fall season saw Sefa Soccer Academy field 22 teams across all age divisions and tiers in the Academy Super League (ASL) – from U9 to U17. Boys and girls alike took to the pitch with enthusiasm, demonstrating skill, dedication, and teamwork week after week.

It was a joy to watch every player grow in confidence and ability throughout the season. Sefa’s commitment to a fun yet competitive environment provided young athletes with invaluable experiences, whether during intense matches or in the many high-quality training sessions that marked the season. Across every age group and tier, Sefa players left their mark on the league, solidifying the academy’s reputation for excellence in player development.

Jamboree Adventures: Building Memories Beyond the Border

One of the highlights of this Fall season was Sefa’s participation in the Jamboree Soccer Games held in Everett, Washington. Representing the academy, U9, U10, U11, U12, and U13 teams took part in exciting matches against some of the top soccer clubs in the Pacific Northwest, including Seattle United, Little Warriors, and Soccer Chance Academy from Portland.

These games were more than just competitions; they were a celebration of soccer and sportsmanship. Playing against high-caliber teams provided Sefa players with a unique opportunity to test their skills, learn from challenging matchups, and most importantly, create lasting friendships and memories. The Jamboree reinforced the academy’s vision of providing diverse and enriching soccer experiences for its players.

A Growing Family: Record-Breaking Registrations

This Fall season saw a remarkable 10% increase in registrations compared to the previous year. Such growth is a testament to Sefa Soccer Academy’s reputation for delivering exceptional training, affordability, and a personalized approach to each player’s development.

Parents and players alike have recognized the academy’s dedication to fostering individual growth while maintaining a fun, engaging atmosphere. Sefa’s philosophy emphasizes that every child has unique potential, and the academy’s tailored training programs ensure that each player receives the attention and support they need to thrive.

Expanding Horizons: Coquitlam and New Westminster

This season marked a significant milestone as Sefa Soccer Academy expanded its reach to Coquitlam with the launch of dedicated kids soccer programs in the area. With a new website, coquitlam.sefasoccer.com, Sefa now welcomes young soccer enthusiasts from Coquitlam to join its growing family and benefit from its renowned training programs.

Additionally, plans are in place for greater representation in New Westminster with enhanced programs at Moody Park in the upcoming year. The academy’s goal is clear: to make high-quality soccer training accessible to as many communities as possible.

Developing Tomorrow’s Stars: National Team Selections

Sefa Soccer Academy’s success is not just local but international. This Fall season brought immense pride as several of the academy’s graduates earned call-ups to national teams, showcasing the academy’s exceptional player development program.

These achievements reflect the quality of Sefa’s training programs and the dedication of its players and coaching staff. Sefa’s ability to nurture talent and guide young athletes toward elite opportunities sets it apart as a leader in youth soccer development.

Excellence Across Borders: International Tournament Success

This year’s Fall season also celebrated remarkable achievements in international tournaments, solidifying Sefa’s reputation as a competitive powerhouse.

  • At the prestigious PacNW Soccer Tournament (January 2024), Sefa’s 012 and 013 teams defended their titles, winning for the second consecutive year. The 011 Selects also claimed victory, while the 014 team finished as finalists.

  • At the Surf Cup Northwest in July, Sefa’s 014 and U13 teams emerged as champions, while the 012 team reached the finals, and the 011 team made an impressive run to the semifinals.

These results are a testament to the academy’s focus on preparing teams to compete at the highest levels, providing players with experiences that challenge and inspire them.

New Programs: Skill Center Development

In addition to its competitive teams, Sefa Soccer Academy introduced Skill Center programs this season. These programs are specifically designed to help young players refine their technique, skills, and understanding of the game. Whether it’s mastering ball control, improving agility, or enhancing decision-making on the field, the Skill Center programs offer targeted training to ensure every player continues to develop and grow.

Preparing for the Winter Season

As one season ends, another begins. Sefa Soccer Academy is already gearing up for the ASL Winter Season. For U9 to U12 age groups, the focus will shift to futsal – a dynamic, fast-paced version of soccer that hones technical skills, quick thinking, and agility. Meanwhile, U13 to U17 players will continue competing in the regular ASL season, building on the success of the Fall.
